El 22 de agosto de 2005, durante una visita al parque turístico 5 Cenotes, cerca de Kantunilkin, encontré una sascabera y algunos restos de cerámica maya en uno de los sumideros kársticos. Reconocí la sascabera por la columna que quedaba en pie y que sostenía el techo. Poco después, cerca de esta columna, encontré numerosos fragmentos de cerámica, que reuní en un solo lugar para hacer una documentación fotográfica.
El parque 5 Cenotes se encuentra al norte de la carretera 15 que conecta Kantunilkin con Tizimin, a 15 km al oeste de Kantunilkin y 2 km más al noreste por un camino de grava. Todos los hallazgos permanecieron en el lugar y se informó al representante del propietario del terreno sobre la importancia de los hallazgos.
Dnia 22 sierpnia 2005 w trakcie wizyty na terenie parku turystycznego 5 Cenot nieopodal Kantunilkin, w jednym z lejów krasowych znalazłem saskaberę i trochę ceramiki. Saskaberę rozpoznałem na podstawie pozostawionej kolumny podpierającej strop (ostańca). Wkrótce w pobliżu tej kolumny natknąłem się na liczne fragmenty ceramiki, które zebrałem w jednym miejscu w celu wykonania dokumentacji fotograficznej.
Park 5 Cenot znajduje się na północ od drogi 15 łączącej Kantunilkin z Tizimin, 15 km na zachód od Kantunilkin i jeszcze 2 km dalej na północny-wschód drogą szutrową. Wszystkie znaleziska pozostały na miejscu, zaś przedstawiciel właściciela terenu poinformowany o ich znaczeniu.
On 22 August 2005, during a visit to the 5 Cenotes tourist park near Kantunilkin, I found a sascabera and some Maya pottery at the perimeter in one of the sinkholes. I recognised the sascabera based on the column left behind to support the ceiling. Soon, on the path to this column, I came across numerous fragments of pottery, which I collected in one place for photographic documentation.
Park 5 Cenotes is located north of Road 15 connecting Kantunilkin with Tizimin, 15 km west of Kantunilkin and another 2 km further north and north-east along a gravel road. All finds remained in place, and the representative of the landowner was informed of their significance.
